Warranties

All materials used will be suitable for purpose and new. We will to the best of our knowledge comply with all relevant laws and legal requirements. Work will be carried out to plans and specifications if any.

 

Services

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure no power / water / sewer / gas or any other service are in the way of the installation of the gazebo. If the installer breaks or punctures any water / sewer / power / gas or any other service all repairs & costs will be the responsibility of the client.

 

Council Approval

Unless specified in the Building Contract, It is the clients responsibility to check council rules and regulations applicable to their property. We can only advise to the best of our knowledge certain council exempt development requirements however if the customer chooses to not obtain council approval, then any responsibility or liability falls to the customer.

 

Site Access & Clearance

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all installers have a clear pathway of 1.2 wide without obstruction to access site. If any crane or materials handling equipment is required this will charged at our cost + 25% handling fee. The client will ensure the site where the gazebo / deck is to be installed is clear of all debris / plants / rubbish/ furniture and any other items this area may consist of. An additional area of 2m outside the dimensions of the gazebo/deck is to be clear unless otherwise specified in the contract.

 

Timber Products

Cupping, splitting & leaching is to be expected as these are natural products. Whilst all care is taken to supply the best quality timber with each Gazebo / deck, timber can have visible knots and bends or twists and these imperfections do not impact the structural integrity of the timber and are normal characteristics of a natural product.

Coastwide Gazebos & Bali Huts will at all times assist with advice but this is a no time a warranty issue or claim.

 

DIY Kits

Kits are supplied with all the necessary structural timber, posts, battens, roofing and fixings with the exception of concrete (unless stated on the contract) in order to build a complete gazebo / deck.

Our kits are supplied with the majority of structural components pre-cut to size including beams, common & jack rafters, hips, and ridge.

Some cutting is still required including cutting posts to the desired height, decking boards and depending on the roof type chosen, battens, thatching, Colorbond components etc will need to be cut to size once the frame is erected.

Instructions provided with each kit are general instructions and a level of pre-requisite knowledge of basic hand tool use & experience with small DIY landscaping and building projects is assumed.
